Construction of Pump House and Product Line for A&E Petroleum
At BoratGlobal, we take pride in delivering engineering excellence that drives operational reliability for our clients. One of our standout construction projects was the development of a Pump House and Product Line System for A&E Petroleum in Ifie-kporo, Warri — a project that reinforced our capability to deliver complex petroleum infrastructure under demanding site and environmental conditions.
Challenges
A&E Petroleum needed a fully functional pump house and product pipeline system to support its expanding operations in Warri. The project site posed multiple challenges — from unstable soil conditions and tight delivery timelines, to the need for strict compliance with oil and gas safety standards.
Additionally, maintaining operational safety while coordinating multiple subcontractors and heavy equipment within an active petroleum zone required precision planning and seamless collaboration.
Solution
BoratGlobal deployed a specialized engineering and construction team to handle the full scope — from structural foundation design to pipeline installation and mechanical integration.
We began with comprehensive geotechnical assessments to stabilize the terrain and implemented custom-engineered concrete supports for the pump housing unit. Our team ensured all materials met industry specifications and worked in alignment with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) safety and quality requirements.
The project was completed ahead of schedule, with all quality assurance tests passed on the first inspection. The new pump house now supports A&E Petroleum’s fuel distribution network efficiently, reducing downtime and boosting throughput capacity.
